Indian River Lagoon Excursions - Florida
The beautiful Indian River Lagoon runs
nearly 160 miles along the east coast of
Florida, bordering Palm Bay, Sebastian,
Cocoa Beach, Titusville, Melbourne, and
Fort Pierce. A biodiversity hotspot, the
lagoon is home to 310 species of birds, 36
rare and endangered animals, and nearly
700 species of fish, including tarpon,
redfish, speckled trout, and snook!

With six inlet accesses to the Atlantic
Ocean, the lagoon provides excellent
backwater kayaking and sea kayaking.
Explore a myriad of natural areas and parks
along the lagoon, including Pelican Island
National Wildlife Refuge.

Don't forget to catch a wave! Sebastian Inlet
offers some of the best surfing on the East
Coast. Kayak surfing provides an easy
alternative to traditional surfing!

Biking is also available in many areas along
the lagoon. The Jungle Trail (multi-use trail)
is a great way to navigate through the
tropics and peddle around Indian River
Lagoon.
